We aim to create personal relationships with our clients, and to develop a level of trust and confidence through the unique concept that is ‘Amazon Creek’. Our team of professional staff will plan your personal holiday experience to one or more of our destinations. On the ground the staff managing our retreats have extensive knowledge of the local area and exceptional contacts to ensure you make the very most out of your stay with us.
We would be delighted to arrange a call to discuss your holiday in more detail. From spa treatments to heli-skiing, catering needs to nanny services, yacht racing or cruising to food and wine tasting, we have it covered!
Tim Davis is the owner of Amazon Creek and the properties and yachts we manage. Tim spent much of his youth growing up in Africa and Mauritius and travelling around Africa, where he developed a love for the sea and a passion for sailing. He went to boarding school in Oxford and was introduced to the snow for the first time at the age of 13 on a school trip and immediately got the skiing bug!
Combining luxury travel, skiing in the mountains, and working on the yachts gives Tim a great sense of adventure! Having left University, Tim spent two seasons teaching skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer months, before his father persuaded him to “get a proper job”! After 20 years working in the financial sector, Tim ventured back into the travel industry, had built the properties and the yachts and now manages Amazon Creek. Tim looks forward to welcoming you on our fabulous holidays!
Prior to Lisa joining the Amazon Creak team full time in 2012, we had been working with Lisa, a highly qualified yoga instructor, personal trainer and sports massage therapist, for several years running Amazon Creek ‘ski and yoga’ and ‘yoga and well-being camps’. Lisa has had a regular yoga practice for over 12 years, teaching in London and Buckinghamshire. She has also traveled worldwide to teach in America.
Lisa joined us in 2012 as head of sales and marketing and in 2013 became our General Manager, overseeing all operational aspects of Amazon Creek and sales and marketing. Somehow Lisa still finds time for yoga!
