Why choose Chamonix?
Chamonix is a world-renowned ski resort in the winter, and a popular Alpine holiday destination in the summer. Host to the first winter Olympics in 1924, and home to Mont Blanc, Europe’s tallest mountain, the valley, with its stunning panoramic, provides a dramatic backdrop in which to host your corporate retreat. Getting to Chamonix couldn’t be easier; it is located just under an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, which serves all of the major airlines, and the motorway will then take you most of the way into Chamonix valley with ease.
How many people can be catered for?
Our three luxury chalets are within a stone’s throw of one other; located in their own private woodland setting in Les Bossons, just outside of Chamonix. The chalets can be booked either individually or as ‘Amazonia’; providing corporate accommodation for up to 26 people, making this ideal for both small and large corporate groups.
Chalet Amazon Creek is particularly suited for large group dining and seminars in the vast living area. However, some larger groups prefer to use Chalet Amazon Creek for dining and Chalet Baloo for seminars and board meetings. All three chalets within Amazonia have cinema rooms which are perfect for smaller breakout sessions.
How can we cater for the requirements of your corporate retreat?
Our unique setting in the French Alps creates the perfect atmosphere for clear, productive thinking, entertainment, and bespoke activity packages for you and your staff or clients. Our attentive team of staff will ensure you have a constructive yet relaxing time on your corporate break, whilst we take care of arranging activities, reservations or anything else you may require during your stay with us.
During your corporate retreat in Chamonix we can provide the following services:
Fine Dining: Eating and drinking are two of the most important elements of your corporate offsite event, which is why our chefs are carefully handpicked, and several have been with us since we established the business.
They will prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches, and sumptuous evening meals, including barbecues on the terrace during the summer; and what better way to enjoy fine dining than with a glass of wine from our well-stocked wine cellar!
Winter activities typically consist of skiing and snowboarding instruction, guiding, and hosting; and the team will, of course, reserve the best mountain restaurants for that all-important lunch stop!
Chamonix is renowned for its off-piste skiing; and the Vallée Blanche, Europe’s longest off-piste run, provides a truly memorable day out for those who are already au fait with the slopes.
Non-skiers can enjoy guided snow-showing walks and husky sledging, or a trip to the top of Aiguille du Midi, Europe’s highest cable car.
Summer activities include the Chamonix golf course, designed by the world-renowned golf course architect Robert Trent- Jones, climbing (suitable for all levels), guided glacier walks from the Aiguille du Midi, hiking to Alpine picnics, mountain biking, white water rafting, and much more.
Restaurants and bars: There are many wonderful restaurants in Chamonix which offer a range of different cuisines, including the local Savoyard specialities, French cuisine, and Euro-Asian cuisine. Chamonix has several Michelin starred restaurants, but often the best kept secrets offer the best options for corporate groups.
Having been in the valley for over 20 years, there are no better people to turn to than our in-resort team to get the run-down on the best lounge bars and night life Chamonix has to offer.
Finishing touches and services: When you want to treat your employees, impress your clients, or just relax and unwind with the board of directors, it’s the little things and the fine attention to detail that will really add a touch of luxury to your corporate away break:
In each of the chalets you will be provided with a dedicated manager, concierge service, chefs, hostesses, and drivers.
There are fresh flowers and Amazon Creek ‘treats’ in the bedrooms on arrival, and the first evening usually includes a Champagne reception and canapés before dinner.
Each chalet has an iPad, Wi-Fi internet throughout, Sky TV, and Netflix; daily international papers are also available, plus a wealth of information on the valley.
We have full audiovisual facilities for seminars and presentations; printers and scanners are also available to facilitate communications.
Wellbeing often forms part of a corporate retreat; and Chalet Amazon Creek and Baloo both boast extensive spa and gym facilities, where you can experience yoga, beauty treatments, and the health benefits of corporate massage.
